Archbrook Capital Management LLC (“Archbrook”) was formed in 2002 as an independent investment management firm investing in the public and private markets through several investment vehicles. Managed by investment professionals with offices in New York, Philadelphia and Chicago, Archbrook seeks to outperform the broad market averages by combining public equity exposure with private investments whose returns are not correlated to the public markets. In terms of public investments, Archbrook allocates the majority of its assets to the U.S. equity markets through a ‘bottoms-up’, company-specific philosophy of finding growing companies with solid fundamentals and strong management teams. While the portfolio is well diversified across industries and market-caps, Archbrook typically limits its exposure to 30 or less individual holdings at any one time. With private investments, Archbrook considers opportunities predominantly in the Eastern region of the U.S. and looks to partner with exceptional management teams who have superior business models and well-defined plans for growth. Archbrook’s financial resources and expertise are used in conjunction with the efforts of management to fully develop that company’s competitive position thereby enhancing the overall level of profitability. To date, Archbrook has completed transactions primarily in the financial services and health care industries. Typical private investments range in size from $1 million to $5 million with the flexibility to participate in all parts of the capital structure – from senior secured debt to control private equity.
