Senior Software Developer

This position is responsible for all aspects of software application development and maintenance including business analysis, technical design, software development, quality assurance, implementation and support of internal and external facing web applications built on the Microsoft technology stack. The Senior Software Developer translates business requirements into system specifications and prepares design documentation and test plans consistent with industry standard software development lifecycle methodologies.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related area is required
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a developer (lead developer a plus)
  • Minimum of 4 years experience with ASP.NET/ VB.NET
  • Minimum of 3 years experience writing SQL Server scripts for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with reporting solutions built on Microsoft Reporting Services preferred
  • Must have experience with .NET 4.0 Framework, XML, AJAX, HTML
  • Must have experience working in object oriented programming using Visual Studio 2010 IDE

Marketing Manager

This position is responsible for the management and tactical execution of company marketing and development initiatives. He or she will be the primary point of contact for the conference companies and associated vendors in support of CFS’s sponsorship and presentation at industry events. This position will also serve as the day-to-day contact for CFS’s marketing consultants as well as internal departments including Business Development and Operations units.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business or marketing discipline
  • Minimum 5 years marketing experience in a professional, business-oriented environment
  • Minimum 3 years related experience within the clinical trials space preferred (eg. CRO/Provider, Pharma, Biotech)
  • Previous marketing experience in the clinical trials space preferably from a CRO or similar trial service provider
  • Demonstrated project management experience with customer focus
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment is essential
  • Requires strong organizational, documentation and interpersonal skills as well as a willingness to work within a team-oriented environment
  • Self-starter, motivated individual comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines

Project Lead — Global Site Services

This position is responsible for driving the tactical delivery of assigned sponsor/CRO studies or programs for the Global Site Services Department. This position will lead a project team to ensure various CFS clinical study investigator initiation and maintenance services are accomplished on time, within budget, and in accordance with applicable financial, contractual, and pharmaceutical R&D industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.A./B.S. preferably in a business or science/health care field, nursing degree, or equivalent degree and/or related experience
  • One (1) year of study start-up experience in a clinical or regulatory operations capacity related to the distribution, collection, and management of essential regulatory documents and/or contracts preferred
  • Prior experience at a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company, CRO, or other organization supporting clinical research or healthcare activities preferred
  • Prior experience in working with electronic document management system(s) or similar portal environment desired
  • Knowledge of the clinical trial process and ICH guidelines and FDA, IRB/IEC regulations/guidelines; experience with handling start-up documents with operational project teams and investigative sites
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment is essential

Project Support Specialist — Global Site Services

This position is responsible for dproviding operational support to delivery of assigned studies or programs on time for the Global Site Services Department. This includes distributing and obtaining study site documents from clinical investigators and performing reviews for quality and accuracy prior to study initiation and/or during study conduct. It also includes providing support in various tracking and status reporting activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.A./B.S. preferably in a business or science/health care field, nursing degree, or equivalent degree and/or related experience
  • Six (6) months direct and/or related experience in a clinical or regulatory operations capacity associated with the distribution, collection, and management of essential regulatory documents and/or contracts preferred
  • Prior experience in working with electronic document management system(s) or similar portal environment desired
  • Basic understanding of the clinical trial process and ICH guidelines and FDA, IRB/IEC regulations preferred
  • Demonstrates customer-oriented communication skills, responding to clients, sites management, and team correspondence promptly and within agreed upon timeframes, cooperating with requests and utilizing appropriate method of communication based on urgency and type of information being communicated
  • Requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational, documentation and interpersonal skills, as well as a willingness to work within a team-oriented environment

Project Lead — Global Payment Services

This position is responsible for delivery of clinical trial grant payment management services that CFS provides to sponsors of clinical trials.  The project lead will serve as the sponsor’s main point of contact for all project related deliverables, questions/issues and overall satisfaction.  In addition, this position will manage and oversee the ongoing grant payment services of assigned clinical trials ensuring the payments are provided timely and accurately and is ultimately responsible for all activities of the project team to ensure sponsor commitments and CFS service levels are achieved.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Accounting or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of prior accounts payable/invoicing experience required
  • Prior experience at a biotech, pharma, CRO or other organization supporting research activities in a financial or data management / analysis capacity strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Prior Data validation experience
  • Previous client service experience
  • Experience using SAP-Business One or other ERP systems
  • Experience using Sales Force

Project Support — Global Payment Services

The Project Support Specialist assists project leads in managing core financial data implementation for contracts with CRO’s, clinical sites, clients and investigators and oversees the site reimbursement process of invoicing and accounts payables. This position is responsible for initial set-up of proprietary software system, tracking project metrics, reporting of findings, and generating invoicing to client sites. This position receives incoming data, conducts data review, leads database audits, test and validates databases and completes necessary edits.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Accounting or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1-2 years of prior accounts payable/invoicing experience
