Mr. Thiede is the Vice President of Global Payment Services of Clinical Financial Services, LLC (CFS) and is responsible for leading the highly skilled and experienced professionals who deliver investigator grant payment management services to pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology companies and clinical research organizations (CROs). Mr. Thiede brings nearly 30 years of experience to CFS from companies that provide technology solutions to their clients, with 10 years of this experience specific to companies providing software and professional service solutions to the Pharmaceutical Industry.

Mr. Thiede has a diverse background containing significant executive roles in finance, operations, service delivery, and account management spanning enterprises from a Fortune 500 technology company, a high growth software and professional service mid-market company, to two small start-up enterprises. This background also contains significant international experience including an expatriate assignment in Europe and a Finance Director role for a Latin American Division of Unisys Corporation.

Prior to joining CFS, Mr. Thiede ran client services and service delivery operations for two start-up enterprises (2006-2008). Prior to these assignments, Mr. Thiede was a Senior Vice President at Dendrite International (1999-2006), a company that experienced significant growth during this period by providing CRM solutions, support, and professional services to sales & marketing organizations in the pharmaceutical industry. Mr. Thiede was responsible for the North American Business Unit that supported Dendrite’s largest client (Pfizer) which more than doubled during his tenure. Mr. Thiede began his career at Unisys Corporation. During his 19 years of service there he held a variety of senior management roles in finance, pre-sales, and account management. Fifteen years of this experience was spent in finance, which included more than 10 years in senior financial management roles.

Mr. Thiede has a B.S. in Accounting and an M.B.A. from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
