Stuart Thiede, MBA
Vice President and General Manager of Global Payment Management Services
Mr. Thiede is responsible for leading the highly skilled and experienced professionals who deliver investigator grant payment management services to clinical trial sponsors and CROs. Mr. Thiede brings nearly 30 years of experience to CFS from companies that provide technology solutions to their clients, with 10 years of this experience specific to companies providing software and professional service solutions to the pharmaceutical industry.
Mr. Thiede’s diverse background includes significant executive roles in finance, operations, service delivery, and account management in enterprises ranging from a Fortune 500 technology company to a high-growth software and professional service mid-market company to two small start-up enterprises. He also has significant international experience, including an expatriate assignment in Europe and a finance director role for a Latin American Division of Unisys Corporation.
Prior to joining CFS, Mr. Thiede ran client services and service delivery operations for two start-up enterprises. Prior to these assignments, Mr. Thiede was a Senior Vice President at Dendrite International, a company that experienced significant growth during this period by providing CRM solutions, support and professional services to sales and marketing organizations in the pharmaceutical industry. Mr. Thiede was responsible for the North American business unit that supported Dendrite’s largest client (Pfizer), which more than doubled in size during his tenure. Mr. Thiede began his career at Unisys Corporation. During his 19 years of service there, he held a variety of senior management roles in finance, pre-sales, and account management. Fifteen years of this experience was spent in finance, which included more than 10 years in senior financial management roles.
Mr. Thiede has a B.S. in Accounting and an M.B.A. from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
