Michael J. Cavanaugh

Mr. Cavanaugh is responsible for leading the Business Development activities of the company including the direct sales activities to new clients along with driving the direction with potential partnership arrangements.  Mr. Cavanaugh has over 25 years of Sales experience in multiple industries, with the last 14 years being focused on solution selling enterprise scale implementations to Life Sciences clients.

Prior to joining CFS, Mr. Cavanaugh worked for CSC in their Life Sciences – Enterprise Collaboration and Content Management group, providing direct sales expertise for global accounts such as Boehringer Ingelheim, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Sanofi-Aventis. During his years at CSC, Mr. Cavanaugh focused on developing and retaining clients with software and services offerings based on both Documentum and SharePoint platforms.  His responsibilities included the setting and delivery of all client expectations relating to the implementation of CSC software offerings. Prior to CSC, Mr. Cavanaugh has held senior sales positions with Microsystems, Eduneering and Liquent, where he has accumulated a wealth of experience in both direct sales and partnership arrangements.  Mr. Cavanaugh started his career in the Finance department at Sperry Corporation, holding various financial management roles including Contracts, Pricing and Branch Financial Manager.

Mr. Cavanaugh holds a B.S. in Accounting and a M.B.A in Finance from St. Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, PA
